These are just a few of the games that my boyfriend and I played over the Valentines weekend. It is days like these that I wish the element of time did not exist.

#29 - Scarborough Fair - 29 Jan

The Scarborough fair is about a man who asks a woman to do impossible tasks before he takes her back. Well an impossible task I encounter often is trying to get these three men to behave when they are together! From left to right: Rod Currin (dad), Rory Currin (brother) and Malcolm van Aardt (boyfriend).

These fish may have a complete lack of colour, however, they are somehow eye-catching and majestic.

#27 - House of the Rising Sun - 27 Jan

That spot in the middle of the water is a jetty. I would name that specific spot the house of the rising sun. Being surrounded by water and pure beauty in nature!

I know I didn't take this photo (unless you pretend the yellow rope is a selfie stick!), but it is just so appropriate. The only possible caption for this photo is "Jack and Jill went up the hill." This is my boyfriend, Malcolm and I hiking together.

I am not sure whether this is a male or female, but either way he/she's a beauty! Absolutely love the gracefulness and tranquility of a turtle floating through the water!

#24 - Jet Airliner - 24 Jan

This was my first time on a jet airliner (it was just a normal Mango plane), but the excitement in this picture is indescribable. I had my first flight at 21 and I am so fortunate that I can remember every single second of it!

Hanging out our hiking boots to get them to air out and be as dry as a bone for our hike back down that mountain the following day!

This fire has broken out a few hours ago and has just grown in size and brightness. In terms of fires; "nothing ever goes as planned" (Here's to hoping the fire does not head towards us tonight!)

I really struggled with today's song, so here is an old photo of mine which is helping me to just "shake it out" about not having such a fitting photo. However, just as the water drop falls back into the water, so will today fall into my past.

 My dear friends Dale (above) and Jandré (below), having a blast in the pool. On this hot day they were creating splashes for me so that I could sing "Raindrops keep falling on my head". What a lovely afternoon!

I was at first disappointed when the child stepped into this perfect shot of the peacock, but now looking back at it I'm glad to be able to see the scale of this beauty!

Tonight I got to catch up with my dear friend, Robin Devlin,  before he heads back to Dubai and all over to continue his adventure. We spent this last night together like we "ain't going down till the sun comes up". Gonna miss you my bud!  (in order from left to right: Robin, myself and Dale)

My brother and best friend, Rory Currin, was 'simply irresistible' as he dived down the water slide today and posed for the camera. What a laugh!

I watched as our kitten, Sylvester, was carefully 'stepping out' from under my car, keeping a watchful eye out for the dogs.
